Which is the best way to sell 5s to everybody at work? I'm a production Supervisor.

Undeniably believe that which you stated. Your favorite reason seemed to be on the net the simplest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I certainly get irked while people think about worries that they plainly do not know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top and defined out the whole thing without having side-effects , people can take a signal. Will probably be back to get more. Thanks

5' s effective for improving measure of performance NEW

While implementing 5's on shop floor need observation. If he is good observer he can point out error on process. 1's is applicable for standardize work, where operator grasp part easily. 2's is applicable for sequence and operator follow sequence in process due to set in order part. 3's applicable to avoid breakdown in m/c. Mostly electronics part may fail due to entrapped metallic burr in controller.4's is focuses on value added activity and helps to eliminate non value added activity.Set standard operating sequence for better quality and improve productivity.5's maintain operating sequence. If 5's is eliminated then it affects on customer quality.

Ensuring proper 5S implementation

The key is 2S - Sort and Set in Order. By creating a "Shine" schedule and standardization, "Sustain" is achieved. The actual translation of the 5th S in Japanese is "Discipline". The workforce requires discipline in order to keep up with proper and continuous 5S. The most important thing that must be communicated to all staff is that work will actually become easier with better 5S. Less stress, less defects, and a more attractive work environment that all can be proud of. We must touch the employees` spirit and ensure they understand what is in it for them. Further, as supervisors and managers, we need persistence and patience. We ourselves need the discipline to go around each day and walk our talk, check that 5S has been implemented and thank the staff members for their efforts.
