In Australia, our Negotiating for Success - Fundamentals from the Harvard Program on Negotiation has been endorsed by the REIV (Real Estate Institute of Victoria), the MFAA (Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia with and the FBAA (Finance Brokers Association of Australia) and NIBA (National Insurance Brokers Association) as an official Continuous Professional Development program.

Program Information:

Negotiating for Success is a 2 day (12 hour) program focused on building powerful negotiation and deal making skills. 

Strategic tools and techniques from the Harvard Program on Negotiation with real life role play/simulations, designed by Harvard, are introduced to participants in this highly interactive and engaging workshop.  With structured theory, practice and assessment components, participants will gain valuable professional skills as well as earn continuous professional development points and certificate for their professional association membership requirements.

Don't need CDP points? No problem. Join us for this intense professional and personal development experience.

Core elements of the program:

  • Harvard's 7 Elements of Effective Negotiation
  • Human Needs Psychology and what the other party needs in order to be influenced and come to an agreement
  • Techniques to turn a "No" into a "Yes" 
  • Dealing with difficult people
  • Cross Cultural Negotiation techniques and principles

Approved CPD Points Allocation

Participants in the Negotiating for Success - Fundamentals from the Harvard Program on Negotiation will earn the following continuous professional development points:

REIV members - 16 Points

MFAA members - 12 Points

FBAA members - 5 Points

NIBA members - 10 Points

LIV members - 12 Points
